1) tom says that he had found some good friends. 2) tom says that ann had made a good report the day before. 3) tom says that he would meet me at the station. 4) tom says that his father wasn't well. 5) tom says that he couldn't find his telephone number. 6) tom says that he hadn't met his brother the day before. 7) tom says that his father liked to tell jokes. 8) tom says that john didn't like rain weather. удачи в учёбе!

потому что это время презент континиус и надо дописывать окончание и в данном случае говорить так некорректно!
