Big shops are widely spread in every russian city nowadays as they provide a great variety of different things from food to clothes. дальше смотри по ситуации: in my home city big shops are not a rare thing too. my family and i enjoy going to the mall on weekdays to have some fun together at the cinema or to go shopping. in my home town big shops are rare. we have few ones in the town center, but mostly all the shops are rather small. they are situated all around the town, but don't provide so much things as the big ones. in my home village there are no big shops at all. we are used to the small ones situated in the suburbs. personally, i think it's rather uncomfortable because we spend a lot of time on shopping because of the distance we have to overcome to get to the shop. я утрирую, можешь скомбинировать несколько предложений, чтобы получился цельный небольшой рассказ. надеюсь, лексика понятна. удачи : )
