Dear ann, how are you? in your last letter you asked me about my country. and i’ll be glad to write about it. ukraineis situated in the eastern part of europe. it is the largest european country and it can become your most desired place with the splendid beauty of magnificent mountains, rich heritage, exotic culture, wonderful architecture, elegance and bustling city life. our country has very definite climatic conditions. we have four seasons of the year and the weather changes greatly from season to season. the climate of the country is determined by its geographical position. in general the climate of ukraineis moderately continental, being subtropical only on the southern coast of the crimea. winters are rather mild with no severe frosts. summer is usually hot. this is about typical weather conditions in the country. i like spring inukraine very much as the weather is neither hot nor cold. tell me, please, more about your country. what is your favourite season? looking for your reply. with best wishes, maria.

In the indian state of mizoram there lives the biggest family in the world, it totals one husband, 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandsons, total 167 people. at the head there is a husband – tsion khan who is not only the head of the family, but also head of the sect which main thought "at the man can be so many wives, how many he will want". all record-holder family lives in the huge four floor house, in it 100 rooms, young wives live near a bedroom of the husband, and go there in turn, and "former" live in the rooms similar to a hostel. for last year in a family the number of wives increased by 10 people.
