Alexander pushkin was the greatest russian poet and writter. he was born in moscow into a family belonging to the " cream" of moscow society in 1799. pushkin received his early education at home. at the age og eight he composed his first poem " ruslan and ludmila " and in 1820 became famous. alexander created literary russian, wrote a lot of poems. he had political views close to the ' decembrists"  pushkin died after a duel in 1837. he was buried in svyatogors monastery near his family estate - mikhailovskoye.
