Ispend a lot of time at school. this place is like my second home. i think that school years are one of the most important parts of our lives. it’s the time when we get major knowledge on different subjects, certain skills and experience for living in the society. this year i’m going to finish my native school number 11 and it makes me a bit sad. however, while i’m still here, i’d like to tell you a little bit about this school. it is a three-storey building with light and spacious classrooms. there is a school playground and an athletic field outside the school. apart from classrooms we have a library, a gym, a cloak-room, a dining-room, and a small assembly hall. the halls are full of useful posters and portraits of renowned people, among them writers, scientists, musicians and else. the headmaster’s office is situated on the ground floor, while the room for teachers is on the first floor. our school works from monday till saturday. we have lessons from 8.30 am till 3 pm. the breaks between the lessons usually last from 5 to 15 minutes. during the longest break we go to dining-room. i get to meet with my friends from other forms there. we eat and chat together. my favourite subjects are english and pe. the classroom for english lessons is well-equipped. there is a good collection of foreign literature, a tv with dvd, a cd player and lots of headphones for us. the walls are decorated with british and american sights. when we have pe lessons our teacher takes us to the gym. we do lots of exercise there and sometimes we play team games. if the weather is warm, we can have the lesson outside. i think life would be boring without schools and it’s a pity that school years don’t last longer. переклад я проводжу багато часу в школі. це місце, як мій другий дім. я думаю, що шкільні роки - це одна з найважливіших частин нашого життя. це час, коли ми отримуємо основні знання з різних предметів, певні навички і досвід для життя в суспільстві. в цьому році я закінчую свою рідну школу № 11, і це мене трохи засмучує. проте, поки я ще тут, я хотів би розповісти вам трохи про цю школу. це триповерхова будівля зі світлими і просторими класами. за межами школи є ігровий майданчик і спортивний майданчик. крім кабінетів, у нас є бібліотека, спортзал, роздягальня, їдальня, і невеликий актовий зал. у коридорах повно корисних плакатів і портретів відомих людей, серед яких письменники, вчені, музиканти і т.д. кабінет директора знаходиться на першому поверсі, а вчительська - на другому поверсі. наша школа працює з понеділка по суботу. у нас уроки з 8.30 ранку до 15.00. перерви між уроками зазвичай тривають від 5 до 15 хвилин. під час найдовшої зміни ми йдемо до їдальні. мені вдається там зустрітися з моїми друзями з інших класів. ми разом їмо і спілкуємося. моїми улюбленими предметами є ійська та фізкультура. кабінет з ійської мови добре обладнаний. там хороша колекція зарубіжної літератури, телевізор з dvd, cd-програвач і багато навушників для нас. стіни прикрашені британськими та американськими пам'ятками. коли у нас урок фізкультури, наш учитель веде нас в спортзал. ми там робимо багато вправ, а іноді граємо в командні ігри. якщо погода тепла, ми можемо проводити урок на вулиці. я думаю, що життя було б нудним без шкіл, і шкода, що шкільні роки не тривають довше.
