nature of alaska are very similar in nature to the russian far east, for example, magadan. here are the same hills, red fish, cold, just above the north on the map - tundra. a lot of moose, bears, caribou. a little deeper into the mainland mountains become higher, with the snow-capped peaks in the winter there are frosts (up to 60 degrees celsius), but in cold climates suxom mainland better tolerated.
