Объясните, зачем нужно слово «get», мне не нужен перевод слова. нужно именно для чего «get» добавляют в предложения. например we have to find a place to get ridof these! почему и можно ли написать без «get»? we have to find a place to rid of these!

To get rid of someone or something. это устойчивое сочетание , идиома "избавиться от чего-либо, кого-либо . раздельно не употребляют.
