Even before 1948 of the last century there was a steppe on the place of salavat. among the serene, almost wild nature grazing herds of cows and horses, in small numerous lakes splashed fish, rustled in the wind feather grass. but it soon became clear that the land in these parts is literally soaked with oil, so it was decided to develop the terrain as a center of petrochemistry and oil refining. so, very quickly, in the middle of the steppe wilderness there was a working village barrack type with an uncomplicated name "new building"
