Alexander sergeyevich pushkin was born on the 26th of may (6 june ), 1799, in moscow. his was born in a noble family. pushkin was the greatest russian poet. he got his education at the lycee in tsarskoye selo. he published his first poem when he was fifteen years old . his famous works are ruslan and ludmila, eugene onegin, the bronze horseman, the captain's daughter e.t.c. pushkin made an invaluable contribution to russian literature. nowadays his works are read and learned by heart too. his works are well-known all over the world. he is considered to be the father of modern russian literature. pushkin died at the age of thirty seven. he died on the 10th of february, 1837. he got a mortal wound in a duel. georges -charles de heeckeren d'anthes wounded him.

Dear Sam,

    I was glad to have received your letter.  As to leisure activities on weekends, I think we have a lot of in common.

     Though my favourite day of the week is Saturday, I usually start planning my recreational activities for it on Friday. On Saturday I sleep much more in the morning and get up later like you, more  often that not I sleep till 10 a. m. I have my breakfast then, do morning exercise and after that I ring my friends up to check if they are ready to meet outside. Then we go to the cinema or to the gym or just hang out in a local cafe sipping juice and eating ice-cream. It all depends upon the plan for the day that had been arranged by us the day before.

      Also, we choose an activity depending on weather of the day and season. So, my friends and sometimes my nephews are my best companions for weekends.
