Nowadays, the studying of foreign languages is simply necessary. it is necessary to interest youth to study other cultures and traditions in order not to lose contact between people of different nationalities. most often there is one foreign language in our russian schools, it is english. i know people who claim that life will be easier if learning of foreign languages is removed from the school curriculum. they argue that if anyone wants to speak any language he can study it by himself. such people often just don't want to strain and waste time teaching other people. therefore, learning a foreign language becomes an ordeal. in my opinion, it would not be bad if there were several foreign languages at our schools. for example, in addition to english it would be german, french or spanish. it would help students to develop their logic, to broaden their horizons. it would allow them to find out something useful about the neighbouring countries. besides, learning of several foreign languages will help students identify if someone has the ability to study one or another language and the culture of other nation. in conclusion, i would like to say that learning foreign languages is very beneficial for students' education and development of young people. in addition, knowledge of any foreign language helps people find a good job. in general, an intelligent and educated person is always appreciated!
