prepare all the ingredients.

soak the peas in water for 12 hours. drain, put peas in a large pot, add the whole carrots, chopped onions, and onion with cloves.

cover with water, bring to a boil. bacon cut into 3-4 parts, add to the pan. reduce heat, cover the pan lid and cook for about 90 minutes.

get meat, allow to cool, then cut into pieces. remove the whole onion with the clove and discard. remove the carrots and pyurirovat it in a blender.

in a saucepan add the carrot puree, spices, and salt to taste. leave to simmer on low heat for another 15 minutes. before serving on the plate first laid bacon, then pour the soup. served with a grainy mustard that each diner can stir it into the soup or take a little bit during the meal. bon appetit!
