hello, steve! i was so glad to receive a letter from you. i have always wanted to have a pen-pal from london, and now it seems that my dream has come true. it will be wonderful to keep in touch with you.

i am also 10 years old, so we are of the same age and must have some interests that are similar. i live in st. petersburg, russia, which i believe is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

it is so amazing to hear about your toy car collection. twenty five is a great start. i hope you will have even more cars as time goes by. and some day, i am sure, you will have a real one, too.

you were asking if i were collecting things. as a matter of fact, i do have a collection as well, but i collect vinyl records. i am very fond of music of different kinds and like to listen to it on my vinyl record player.

what is your typical day like? i am pretty busy with school, sports and music school. even now i need to leave for a class, so i need to go.
